Soul Flutes have a hidden dimension: The slow air chamber, (that’s the area between the mouthpiece and the nest), has a much larger volume than the usual—this aids resonance. Then there’s the brass inlays. The bright, bold metal contrasts wonderfully with the dark wood - which is ebonised walnut.
